Great Bay Community College is seeking qualified applicants who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; strong academic background is required.
Adjunct Faculty: Massage Therapy Program
The instructor will be responsible for preparing and teaching an 11-15 week, 2-5 Credit, Science related course applicable to Massage Therapy. The instructor must be familiar with and experienced teaching in an in-person, online or blended learning environment using a variety of platforms, including Zoom.
Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in-person classroom or online instruction.
The minimum qualifications for the position are as follows:
Education: Bachelor’s degree with concentration in science and a minimum of (5) years related teaching and/or professional work experience related to the teaching assignment shall be considered as meeting the subject/content area requirements.
Experience: Minimum of (3) years professional experience in the field of Massage Therapy depending on education.
Licensure: Faculty must possess current NH LMT Licensure and current Liability insurance.
The compensation rate is $750-$900 per contact hour. Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
