Adjunct Faculty Position – Seminars in Sonography DGMS 233C
NHTI – Concord’s Community College
Position Type: Part-time, adjunct
Semester: Fall 2025
Compensation: $800 - $950 per credit, based on adjunct faculty rank (determined by education and experience)
Position Overview:
NHTI is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach DGMS 233C Seminars in Sonography. This course provides students with essential skills in presenting cases and preparing for registry exams.
Course Details:

- Lecture Hours: 4 hours weekly
- Lab/Practicum Hours: None
- Schedule: Friday 9:00 am- 12:50 pm
- Location: NHTI Campus, Concord, NH
Course Description:
This course includes case presentations by students and preparation for registry exams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach in-person classroom course using provided curriculum and instructional materials aligned with program standards.
- Develop and provide syllabus, course objectives, learning outcomes and assessment tools.
- Facilitate class discussions, assignments, and assessments to foster student engagement and learning.
- Provide regular feedback and maintain accurate records of student progress via Canvas and/or Trajecsys.
- Comply with college policies and standards.
- Record and report student learning outcomes to program coordinator.
- Strongly encouraged to attend meetings and events related to the program.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Must possess a minimum of an associate degree in related discipline.
- Experience: Must hold active ARDMS Abdomen and OB/GYN or ARRT (S) credential. Minimum three years’ experience in ultrasound imaging.
- Residency: Must reside in NH, VT, ME, MA, RI, or CT.
- Preferred qualifications: Hold RVT credential. Bachelor degree or above. Prior teaching experience.
