NCC Adjunct Faculty- Accounting
Nashua Community College is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; strong academic background is required. Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period, and may require in classroom or online instruction as indicated. We have a need for instructors for the following course(s) in our Accounting program for the Spring 2026 semester, which runs from January 20, 2026 to May 9, 2026. These courses are scheduled from 6pm-9pm. ACCT101:Financial Accounting I (first 7 week course) This course provides a foundation for a thorough understanding of basic accounting procedures and principles through the study of the accounting cycle and financial statements. Additionally, current assets, cash and receivables will be studied. The use of computers in accounting is introduced. ACCT102: Financial Accounting II (second 7 week course) This course is a continuation of ACCT101N. Current and long-term assets are studied along with liabilities and owner's equity items. Accounting for corporations and bonds are also discussed. The course concludes with preparation of the Statement of Cash Flows and financial statement analysis. Minimum qualifications: The candidate will have a Masters degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field. The salary range for this position is $825-$975 per contact hour. The rate will be determined by the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
