GBCC Adjunct Faculty - Computer Information Systems and Information Systems Technology
CCSNH has established employer status within the New England states (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island). In compliance with CCSNH policies and state regulations, eligibility for employment within CCSNH and its institutions requires residency within a New England state. Great Bay Community College is seeking qualified applicants who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; strong academic background is required. Semester: 2026 Spring Semester Adjunct Faculty: Computer Information Systems and Information Systems Technology Example: The instructor will be responsible for helping to prepare and to teach a 16 week freshman practicum curriculum course and complete day time observation visits in ECE settings for student observation. Course: Curriculum in ECE. The instructor must be familiar with and experienced teaching in an online or blended learning environment using a variety of platforms, including Zoom. Course: CIS 146: Linux I CIS 161: Fundamentals of Networking Security IST 262: Advanced Network Security Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in classroom or online instruction. The compensation rate is $825-$975 per contact hour, Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience. The minimum qualifications for the position are as follows: Education: Minimum qualifications are Masters Degree in the specific subject or closely related field and three years’ experience in teaching, business, or industry in related field.
