Assistant Professor - LPN (NCC Site)
River Valley Community College Associate Professor – LPN program Location: Nashua Community College CCSNH has established employer status within the New England states (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island). In compliance with CCSNH policies and state regulations, eligibility for employment within CCSNH and its institutions requires residency within a New England state. SCOPE OF WORK: To educate students in current nursing and LPN methodology and to coordinate departmental activities including developing and evaluating curricula, advising students develop and other program, departmental, and institutional activities that advance the mission of the college. This position is located at Nashua Community College in Nashua, NH and shall report to the Department Chair Allied Health River Valley Community College. CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Master’s degree in education, nursing, public health, health care administration, health education, or other health related discipline from a regionally accredited college or university. Possession of a master’s degree in education, public health, health care administration, health education or other health related discipline shall require a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Experience: Three (3) years of teaching experience in the field Nursing or three (3) years’ experience as a registered nurse. OR Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a regionally accredited college or university. Experience: Four (4) years of teaching experience in the field Nursing or four (4) years’ experience as a registered nurse. Licensure/Certifications: Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse within the State of New Hampshire.
