Manchester Community College is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in contract teaching at the College in both a classroom and clinical setting; strong academic background is required. The focus area is Medical Assisting.
Pay Range: $40-$50 per hour
Work Schedule: 3 to 5 8-hour days per week
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: A minimum of an earned Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university, with a major field of study in nursing or medical assisting.
Experience: Minimum of Three (3) years of practicing as a nurse or medical assistant with an aptitude for teaching in the field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university, with a major field of study in nursing or medical assisting.
- CMA or RMA Certification
- Higher education teaching experience in the Allied Health field.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
Scope of Work:
To coordinate course, course delivery and program activities for non-credit Medical Assistant Certification Training at Manchester Community College. The position is a contractual, temporary position for a specified contract period.
