Part-time Practicum Coordinator Addiction Counseling Program
The Part Time Practicum Coordinator should be a person who has at least five (5) years of experience in the Addiction Counseling profession. License as a NH LADC or NH MLADC is preferred.
In addition to instructional responsibilities, the Practicum Coordinator will be responsible for:
a. Coordinating clinic/internship /coop/practicum sites.
b. Representing the program in program-related activities externally, as needed;
c. Supervising clinical/internship/co-op/practicum sites, as assigned by the Department Chair;
d. Advising practicum students within the Addiction Counseling academic program, as appropriate;
f. Coordinating site visits to for Addiction Counseling students
Instructor(s) will teach one or more courses in NHTI’s Human Services and Addiction Counseling programs. Teaching experience is preferred but not required, as well as experience supervising students engaged in internship/practicum courses. Current or prior Human Service and/or Addiction Counseling experience required. In-person instruction is required for Practicum/Internships.
Experience and familiarity with Canvas or a similar learning management system (LMS) is a plus.

Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major study in addiction counseling, human service, social work, substance use disorder treatment, counseling, social science, or a related field.
Applicants must reside in New Hampshire.
