Adjunct Faculty - Paramedic Emergency Medicine
Adjunct Faculty: Paramedic Emergency Medicine NHTI-Concord’s Community College is seeking qualified applicants who are interested in teaching at the college on a course-by-course basis. Semester: Spring 2025 The instructor will be responsible for preparing and teaching the following 16-week course: Paramedic Procedures Course Number: PEM 111C Lecture Hours: 0 Lab, Clinic, or Practicum Hours: 3 Credit Hours: 1 Course Meeting Day/Time: Tuesdays, 9a – 12p, from January 21st until April 29th Course Description: This performance-based course focuses on the broad spectrum of paramedic procedures. Students will perform technical skills drawn from Advanced Trauma, Advanced Cardiology, Medical Emergencies, and Pharmacology courses. An emphasis will be placed on the skills and competencies making students eligible for advanced hospital and field clinic rotations. Requirements: Experience and current licensure as a paramedic, nurse, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or physician. Minimum education is an associate degree. Availability to teach on campus in Concord, NH. Residency in NH, VT, ME, MA, RI, or CT required. (Relocation expenses will not be reimbursed).
