Adjunct Faculty Position – Business Administration Courses

Position Type: Part-time, adjunct
Semester: Fall 2025
Compensation: $825 - $975 per credit, based on adjunct faculty rank (determined by education and experience)
Position Overview:
NHTI is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach Business Administration courses. These courses provide students with essential knowledge in business, leadership, marketing, law, sales, organizational behavior, management, human resources, etc., focusing on practical applications and real-world relevance.

Program Description:
NHTI's Business Administration degree program helps prepare students to be part of the day-to-day challenges in the dynamic field of business. They will be given a broad background in classes taught by faculty who are or have been successful business professionals. NHTI offer a broad background including courses in accounting, business law, human resources, computer applications, economics, English, and math.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach the assigned course using provided curriculum and instructional materials aligned with program standards.
- Facilitate class discussions, assignments, and assessments to foster student engagement and learning.
- Provide regular feedback and maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Maintain professional currency in the field and comply with college policies and standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: A Master’s degree, in the subject/content area of business administration or a subject/content area closely related to the teaching assignment, or possession of a Master’s degree in Education with twelve (12) graduate credits in the subject/content area closely related to the teaching assignment and a Bachelor’s degree in the subject/content area or closely related field to the teaching assignment combined with a minimum of two years of related teaching and/or professional work experience is required. Workshops, seminars, licenses, certifications, and other forms of recognized professional achievements in the subject/content area may also be considered in reaching the subject/content area requirement.
- Experience: Industry experience, prior teaching experience and familiarity with Canvas (or a similar Learning Management System) is preferred.
- Residency: Must reside in NH, VT, ME, MA, RI, or CT.
