GBCC Adjunct Faculty - Massage Therapy Theory & Practical Courses
CCSNH has established employer status within the New England states (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island). In compliance with CCSNH policies and state regulations, eligibility for employment within CCSNH and its institutions requires residency within a New England state. Great Bay Community College seeks an experienced Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join our collaborative, student-centered Massage Therapy Program. This adjunct teaching opportunity is ideal for practitioners who enjoy teaching massage therapy theory alongside hands-on application, clinical reasoning, and professional practice skills. Faculty in our program support students in developing strong foundational knowledge while building confidence in technique, body mechanics, client communication, and ethical decision-making. Instruction emphasizes experiential learning, guided practice, and alignment between classroom instruction and clinical training. Semester: Fall and/or Spring and/or Summer Semester Adjunct Faculty: Massage Therapy Program Course: Massage Therapy Theory and Practical Course Adjunct appointments are temporary and made for a specified contract period. Assignments may include in-person and/or online instruction, depending on course needs. Compensation: The minimum qualifications for the position are as follows: Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required Experience: A minimum of (5) years related teaching and/or professional work experience related to the teaching assignment shall be considered as meeting the subject/content area requirements.
