Adjunct Faculty Position – Dental Assisting course(s)
NHTI – Concord’s Community College
Position Type: Part-time, adjunct
Semester: Fall 2026
Compensation: $850 - $1000 per credit, based on adjunct faculty rank (determined by education and experience)
Position Overview:
NHTI is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to work in the Dental Assisting Program. The assignment is for clinical and lab hands on learning to provide students with essential knowledge of clinical application of theory focusing on practical applications and real-world relevance.
Position Responsibilities:
- Course Delivery: Provide instruction using curricula aligned with department and program standards.
- Student Engagement: Foster active learning through discussions, assignments, and assessments.
- Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Professional Development: Stay current in your field and adhere to institutional policies and guidelines. Maintain professional currency in the field and comply with college policies and standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors of Science / Arts, Current DANB (Dental Assisting National Board) CDA certification (Certified Dental Assistant). Credentials in expanded dental assisting functions as required in New Hampshire preferred.
- Experience: Recent experience in the application of four-handed dentistry principles.
- Residency: Must reside in NH, VT, ME, MA
